Meta launches Muse Wonder models with active memory and focus features

AI assistants are increasingly being designed to handle complex tasks with less human guidance. Meta has now introduced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, 2 premium AI models built on its Muse Spark model, launched earlier this year, to support personal and professional agentic tasks.

The company describes the new models as its “most capable models that deliver state-of-the-art performance on personal and professional agentic tasks”. They combine 2 features, Active Memory and Active Focus, to help AI agents use relevant information from past conversations and work through problems. Their applications range from understanding lease agreements to analysing financial and health information.

Muse Wonder is available through Meta’s Model API and Muse Code, while Muse Wonder Full is available to Muse Code subscribers. Meta said Muse Wonder will soon power experiences in Muse, with subscribers receiving access first.

Active Memory carries important user context across conversations and retrieves relevant details when needed. Active Focus explores alternative approaches, works through obstacles and adapts to new information. The models can also ask users for clarification and check with them before taking important actions.

Meta evaluates the models’ problem-solving focus through FocusBench and task execution through SWE-Marathon. Both models are also designed to deliver advanced coding performance, supporting projects ranging from small applications to complex software.

The company shared benchmark results comparing the models with other available systems. On the Harvey LAB-AA legal agent benchmark, Muse Wonder Full scored 13.1, ahead of Muse Wonder at 10.0 and GPT-6 Astra at 8.6. On the DeepSWE 1.1 benchmark for long-running coding tasks, Muse Wonder Full scored 79.0, narrowly ahead of Muse Wonder at 78.8.

Meta also said Muse Wonder offers its strongest safeguards so far against CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) threats and cyber misuse. According to the company, the models are designed to retain advanced cyber capabilities for defensive purposes under its Meta Superintelligence Scaling Framework.
