The initiative is designed to help commuters save on their metro expenses without requiring any change in their existing online shopping habits. By simply continuing their usual purchases, users can earn cashback that supports their daily travel costs.
A key highlight of the feature is its instant cashback transfer capability. Any rewards earned can be directly credited to the user’s bank account without delays, ensuring quick and easy access to savings.
The update is available on the latest version of the Mumbai Metro app across both Android and iOS platforms. It is part of the metro’s broader effort to enhance commuter convenience and affordability. This move builds on previously introduced features such as WhatsApp ticketing and Metro Rewards, which aim to simplify and improve the overall travel experience.
With RapidCash, Mumbai Metro Line 1 continues to explore innovative ways to integrate everyday digital habits with public transportation benefits, making commuting smarter and more cost-effective.
