Ahead of its official debut in India, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, offering early insights into its performance and internal specifications. The device is set to launch in India on June 4, with several key features already teased by the company.
The listing reveals that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6899 chipset. The processor configuration includes four efficiency cores clocked at 2.20GHz, three performance cores at 3.20GHz, and a prime core reaching up to 3.40GHz. The chipset is linked to the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 family, which is also expected to power upcoming smartphones in the same segment.
As per the benchmark data, the device includes around 11.18GB of RAM, likely to be marketed as 12GB. It is also expected to run on Android 16 out of the box. Graphics duties are handled by an ARM Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. In performance tests, the device reportedly scored 1,722 points in single-core and 5,623 points in multi-core benchmarks.
On the design and imaging front, Motorola has already confirmed that the Edge 70 Pro+ will feature a triple rear camera setup. It will be led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor using the Sony LYT-710 sensor with optical image stabilisation. The smartphone will also include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, supporting up to 50x digital zoom.
The device will be available in India through Flipkart, Motorola’s official online store, and offline retail channels. It will be offered in three Pantone-inspired colour variants: Chicory Coffee, Stormy Sea, and Zinfandel. Each finish features a distinct texture, including sculpted wood, twill-inspired, and satin-luxe designs.
