Mivi is preparing to enter India’s smartphone market with its first handset, the Mivi One 5G, and has now revealed more details ahead of its launch. The smartphone will be available in 3 colour options and will offer 128GB of onboard storage.
The company has confirmed that the Mivi One 5G will launch in India in Burgundy, Blue, and Green. The dedicated microsite for the handset has also been updated to show the 3 colour variants.
The company has also revealed more details about the phone’s design. The Mivi One 5G will feature a flat rear panel with a pill-shaped camera module positioned in the top-left corner. It will have a dual rear camera system, along with an LED flash placed beside the camera module.
A cutout on the top of the handset could house a secondary microphone. The rear panel will carry vertically aligned Mivi branding in the bottom-left corner. The phone will also feature a flat mid-frame.
The power button and volume controls could be placed on the right side, while the left side may remain clean. At the bottom, the smartphone will have a USB Type-C port placed next to the speaker grille.
The Mivi One 5G is confirmed to launch in India on September 24. It will be sold in the country through Flipkart and will mark the company’s entry into the smartphone segment.
The company has already confirmed that the handset will be powered by an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and will run an unspecified version of Android. More details, including the pricing, are expected to be announced in the coming days.
