Before stepping into this role, Chatziioannou served as Executive Director Human Resources, International at GE HealthCare, overseeing regions including Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Prior to that, she held the role of Regional HR Director, Intercontinental, with responsibilities across Latin America, Asia Pacific, Australia, and New Zealand, placing her at the core of global HR leadership across key markets.
Earlier, Chatziioannou served as Executive Human Resource Director – Global HR4HR and Senior HR Director, Eastern Growth Markets, covering the Middle East, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. She also held the position of Regional HR Director, Commercial, EAGM, spanning Africa, the Middle East, Russia, and Turkey. These roles highlight her steady progression across complex and geographically diverse leadership responsibilities.
Her broader journey at GE HealthCare includes roles such as Learning & Development Leader, Europe, HR Manager, South East Europe, and HR Manager, MDX, Eastern Europe, building a strong foundation in leadership development, talent management, and regional HR execution.
Before joining GE HealthCare, Chatziioannou served as Head of Development, Training and Recruitment at Heineken. Earlier, she worked at Unilever as Europe HR Project Manager and HR & Business Excellence Manager, gaining experience in HR transformation and business excellence.
Chatziioannou’s career reflects consistent growth across talent leadership, HR transformation, and international people strategy. With experience spanning GE HealthCare, Heineken, and Unilever, she brings a strong global people leadership profile to her new role.
