Lucid has appointed Hugo Martinho as Chief Transformation Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to advance innovation, operational excellence, and the global transition to clean energy.
The appointment reflects Lucid’s focus on driving enterprise-wide transformation as it expands its global operations.
Martinho brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience across human resources, business transformation, organizational strategy, operational leadership, and executive management. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale organizational change across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
Before joining Lucid, Martinho took a brief career transition after serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Schindler Group. In that role, he led the company’s global people strategy, organizational transformation, leadership development, and workforce initiatives. Prior to becoming Global CHRO, he served as Head of Human Resources – Europe North, where he was responsible for HR strategy and organizational effectiveness across the region.
Earlier, he held several senior leadership positions within the Schindler Group, including Human Resources Director – Asia Pacific, Human Resources Director – Asia Pacific, India & Middle East, and Human Resources Director – Asia Pacific based in Shanghai. He also served as Managing Director, Singapore & Myanmar for Jardine Schindler Group, leading business operations and market expansion. Before that, he was Human Resources Director at Jardine Schindler Group in Hong Kong.
With extensive experience in business leadership, organizational strategy, and human capital management, Martinho is well positioned to lead Lucid’s enterprise transformation initiatives and support the company’s next phase of global growth.
