Daneil, who currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and joined LinkedIn in 2008 as General Manager for the LinkedIn Research Network, will succeed Ryan Roslansky. The change is effective immediately.
The leadership move comes as LinkedIn positions itself at the center of an AI-driven shift in how professionals work and build careers. The platform has over 1.3 billion members and contributed 6.3% of Microsoft’s annual revenue in 2025.
“AI is going to transform how people work and grow in their careers faster than most people expect,” Roslansky said.
Alongside this transition, LinkedIn has also appointed Mohak Shroff as President of Platforms & Digital Work.
The changes reflect LinkedIn’s focus on strengthening leadership as it adapts to rapid advancements in AI and the evolving nature of professional networking.
