With more than 30 years of experience in information technology, digital transformation, and business innovation, Hilal brings extensive expertise in leading large-scale technology initiatives across the automotive sector. In his new role, he will spearhead the company’s digital and technology agenda, focusing on innovation, operational excellence, and technology-enabled business growth.
Before joining JSW Motors, Hilal spent over 25 years at Honda Cars India Ltd., where he most recently served as VP & Operating Head – IT. During his tenure, he led enterprise-wide IT strategy, business transformation programs, and digital initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and supporting business growth.
His professional journey also includes leadership roles at Global IT Options Ltd., Daewoo Motors India Limited, and TOYOTA DCM. Across these organizations, he gained significant experience in technology leadership, digital modernization, change management, and enterprise transformation.
Over the course of his career, Hilal has built a strong track record of aligning technology with business objectives, driving innovation, and leading complex transformation programs in dynamic business environments.
His appointment reflects JSW Motors’ commitment to accelerating its digital capabilities and leveraging technology to support the future of mobility. With his extensive experience in IT leadership and digital transformation, he is expected to play a key role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth and innovation.
