Targeting heavy data users, Reliance Jio has launched a new prepaid option called the Youth and Gaming Plan in India. The plan is designed for users who spend significant time on gaming, streaming, and social media, combining data benefits with bundled subscriptions and cloud services.
Priced at Rs. 459, the plan comes with a validity of 28 days and offers a total of 61GB data. This includes 2GB daily data along with an extra 5GB high-speed data. After the limit is reached, speeds reduce to 64Kbps. Users also get unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. Eligible users can access unlimited 5G data under Jio’s True 5G network.
The plan includes multiple digital services. Users get access to JioGames Mobile, FanCode via JioTV, and Snapchat+. It also offers a 3-month mobile subscription to JioHotstar and 50GB cloud storage on JioAICloud, creating a combined entertainment and utility package.
Additionally, the plan includes a Google Gemini Pro offer valid for 18 months, valued at Rs. 35,100. This benefit provides access to advanced AI features along with 5TB cloud storage. To continue using these services, users must stay active on eligible Jio plans during the offer period.
Users are required to log in to each service using the same mobile number linked to their Jio connection. Timely recharges are also necessary to keep certain benefits active.
Separately, a recent report indicates that Jio is offering free incoming SMS over Wi-Fi calling for users travelling abroad. Messages can be received without an international roaming pack if the device is connected to Wi-Fi and VoWiFi is enabled. This feature allows users to receive OTPs and banking alerts without extra charges, provided they have an active plan, a compatible device, and a stable internet connection.
