In her new role, Bangia will lead strategic communications, deepen media engagement and enhance the company’s corporate positioning across key stakeholders. Her appointment brings strong expertise in managing integrated communication strategies across global organisations.
Bangia joins JCB India Ltd. from Stryker, where she served as Head – PR & Corporate Communications. During her tenure, she led end-to-end communication strategies, driving improved brand visibility and stronger stakeholder engagement. She also played a key role in increasing positive media coverage and positioning the organisation as a thought leader in the healthcare space.
Prior to this, she was Lead – PR & Corporate Communications at Philips, managing communications across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Her work focused on building integrated communication strategies, strengthening brand narratives and supporting executive and internal communications across the region.
Earlier, she worked as Senior Manager – Corporate Communications at General Motors India Pvt Ltd, where she led PR and communication initiatives aligned with business priorities. Her contributions included driving CSR campaigns and shaping brand storytelling.
She also spent over 10 years at Canon India Pvt. Ltd., where she led PR initiatives, managed large-scale campaigns and handled crisis communications. She began her career at GE Capital, building a strong foundation in corporate communications and stakeholder engagement.
Bangia holds a PGDM in Marketing from the All India Management Association (AIMA), further strengthening her expertise in strategic communications and brand management.
