In an effort to make artificial intelligence learning more accessible, IIT Madras has introduced 3 new AI courses on the SWAYAM Plus platform. These courses are designed for beginners and do not require any coding experience.
The initiative is open to a wide range of learners, including students, administrators, and anyone interested in understanding how to interact with AI systems. Registrations are currently open and will continue until May 10, 2026.
Courses teach Python, AI tools, prompts
The course lineup includes “AI for Aspiring Engineers,” which covers the basics of Python and machine learning. Another course, “AI for Administrators,” focuses on using AI tools to make better decisions. The third course, “Prompt Engineering,” teaches how to get more effective results from AI systems.
These courses programmes are part of the “AI for All” campaign, which has already attracted thousands of learners.
Interested candidates can register through the official SWAYAM Plus platform at swayam-plus.swayam2.ac.in.
