Honor Win 2 tipped for October launch with 2nm Snapdragon chipset

Honor could bring its next performance-focused flagship lineup earlier than expected, with a new leak pointing to an October launch for the Honor Win 2 series. The upcoming smartphones are also tipped to feature Qualcomm’s next-generation 2nm flagship chipset, a large battery and an upgraded cooling system.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor Win 2 series is currently on track for an October launch. The existing Honor Win debuted in China in December 2025 alongside the Honor Win RT, both featuring 10,100mAh batteries.

Previous reports suggest that the Honor Win 2 series could use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, potentially making it one of the first smartphones to adopt the company’s upcoming 2nm flagship platform. The lineup is also expected to feature a built-in cooling fan designed to manage heat during extended gaming and other demanding tasks.

The Honor Win 2 series is tipped to pack a 10,000mAh battery and a 6.89-inch OLED display with 2K+ resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. Reports indicate that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 model could launch as the Honor Win 2 Pro Max, while a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 version may arrive as the Honor Win 2 Pro. The newer hardware could also result in higher pricing than the original Honor Win series.

Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station claims the Vivo X500 series and iQOO 16 have received network access certification, suggesting that both lineups are moving closer to launch. The Vivo X500 is reportedly expected in late September and could become the first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s upcoming 2nm Dimensity chipset.

The iQOO 16 is also tipped for a late September launch and could be the first numbered iQOO smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s 2nm Snapdragon SoC. The OnePlus 16 is reportedly expected to launch in October.
