HackerOne has appointed Naveen Bhateja as Chief People Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience in people and leadership roles across global technology companies. Bhateja has held senior positions at MediData, Juniper Networks, Amazon and JPMorganChase, where his work spanned talent strategy, organisational effectiveness, leadership development and executive capability building.
In his new role, Mr Bhateja will lead HackerOne’s people strategy, leadership development and culture, while focusing on strengthening its leadership bench and creating opportunities for employees to grow as the company scales. He joins the company’s executive leadership team at a time when the role of people leadership is increasingly intertwined with how technology organisations build and adapt their workforce.
The appointment comes as HackerOne continues to build an AI-native organisation, combining AI capabilities with human security expertise. That evolution is also changing what organisations need from their people: faster decision-making, new skills and the ability to work effectively alongside increasingly capable AI systems. Bhateja’s mandate will therefore extend beyond traditional people operations to helping build the leadership and organisational capabilities required for this next phase.
