Pranjali Awasthi, an Indian-origin entrepreneur, has emerged as one of the youngest founders to build a rapidly growing AI startup reportedly valued at nearly Rs 100 crore.
Born in India and later moving to Florida with her family, Pranjali developed an interest in technology at an early age. Inspired by her engineer father, she began learning coding at just 7 and soon became interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
At 13, she reportedly took part in a research internship, where she worked on machine learning projects while continuing her studies. The experience gave her insight into the challenges researchers face when navigating and analysing large volumes of online information.
In January 2022, Pranjali launched Delv.AI, a platform designed to help researchers find, organise, and extract relevant information from online sources more efficiently. The startup quickly gained attention within the technology ecosystem.
Its early success earned a place in a startup accelerator programme based in Miami, providing access to mentors, industry experts, and investors. The company subsequently secured approximately $450,000, or around Rs 3.7 crore, in funding from investors including On Deck and Village Global.
The startup’s continued growth and rising popularity have reportedly pushed its valuation close to Rs 100 crore. This achievement has positioned Pranjali among the youngest entrepreneurs leading a fast-growing AI venture.
Pranjali studied Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology and founded Delv.AI at the age of 16. Her journey highlights how an early passion for coding and machine learning can evolve into a successful technology business.
