Aon has appointed Rajat Vibhas as Global Head of Human Capital Client Delivery, Global Capability Centers (GCCs).

Based in Gurugram, Vibhas will lead the continued development of Aon’s Human Capital client delivery model across its GCC network.

His mandate will focus on strengthening capabilities, accelerating innovation and supporting high-quality client outcomes globally.

Vibhas brings 28 years of professional experience across global capability centres, insurance, financial services, operations, transformation, technology enablement and client delivery. His experience includes building and managing large global teams, developing operating models, strengthening organisational capabilities and driving operational excellence across international environments.

Before joining Aon, Vibhas spent 8 years with Sun Life, most recently serving as Head, SLGS India Operations from May 2021 to August 2026. He led a team of more than 1,600 associates supporting Sun Life’s Canada and US operations and handling around 20 million client requests.

He was also part of the SLGS Executive Leadership Team and the Global Sun Life Canada Operations Executive Leadership Team. His responsibilities covered group health and dental, retirement services, individual life, wealth, health solutions and other business areas.

Earlier at Sun Life, Vibhas served as Head of Business Excellence and Marketing Communications. He worked on target operating models, client-focused measurement systems, operational risk and controls, digital employee experience and automation.

He also implemented the Digi Ops framework, using AI, machine learning, robotic process automation and low-code/no-code technologies to drive transformation and operational improvements.

Before Sun Life, Vibhas was Head of Operations – Insurance Broking at Jardine Lloyd Thompson India, where he managed operations teams of more than 400 employees supporting businesses across the UK, US, Australia and Asia-Pacific.

His responsibilities included strategic migrations, operational scalability, Lean Six Sigma initiatives, data analytics programmes, technical career pathways, a reinsurance broking centre of excellence, training operations and HR shared services.

Vibhas previously spent nearly 13 years with Max Life Insurance as Vice President – Customer Services and Policy Owner Services. He worked across customer service operations for millions of policyholders, digital service transformation, retention programmes and PMO leadership for a major cross-business strategic growth initiative.

He began his career with Trident Hotels before moving to GECIS, now Genpact, gradually expanding his experience from customer-facing operations to large-scale global leadership and transformation.
