The growing demand for AI-driven automation in financial services is bringing fresh funding into the sector. Bengaluru-based voice AI startup Desible.ai has raised ₹32 Cr (around $3.7 Mn) in a seed round led by Prime Venture Partners, with existing investor Invention Engine also participating.

The startup plans to use the funding to strengthen its agentic AI capabilities, build stronger compliance infrastructure, expand its go-to-market efforts and accelerate product development.

Desible.ai expands agentic AI workflows

Founded in 2025 by Uttam Tiwari and Omkar Raikar, Desible.ai currently orchestrates more than 25 agentic AI workflows across revenue, risk and compliance, collections, underwriting, service and claims.

The startup initially entered the BFSI ecosystem through voice AI but is now expanding its platform across WhatsApp, SMS and email. Its technology is designed to automate customer engagement, servicing, operations and compliance workflows for banks, NBFCs and insurance companies.

Its use cases include persistence and renewal management, collections, lead qualification, welcome calling, TeleMER, claims intimation and cross-selling, among others.

Desible.ai said its platform currently manages more than 10 Mn customer engagements every month and is being used or evaluated by more than 40 BFSI institutions.

“Voice AI is our entry point, not our destination. We are building an outcome-driven agentic workflow orchestration platform for BFSI enterprises,” Tiwari said.

The funding comes as generative and agentic AI adoption pushes financial services companies to automate more complex workflows. However, AI deployment in regulated environments also brings challenges around compliance, auditability, customer consent and data security.

This is creating opportunities for vertical AI platforms that combine automation with industry-specific controls. The BFSI AI market is also moving beyond conversational applications towards agentic systems capable of executing multi-step workflows.

Other voice AI startups are also raising funds in this space. Navana.ai raised ₹40 Cr ($4.2 Mn) in a Series A round in September to expand its voice AI platform across BFSI. Earlier in January, Arrowhead raised $3 Mn (₹27 Cr) in seed funding for hiring and technology development.
