Dell has expanded its laptop portfolio in India with the launch of the XPS 13, 14S and 16S, while also refreshing the Alienware 15 gaming laptop. The new lineup brings Intel and AMD processors, OLED displays and upgraded AI capabilities across different segments.
The Dell XPS 13 starts at Rs. 79,990 and comes in Sky and Storm finishes. The Dell 14S starts at Rs. 1,19,990, while the Dell 16S starts at Rs. 2,29,990. Both are available in Celestial Blue and Frost Blue. The refreshed Alienware 15 with Intel Core processors starts at Rs. 1,28,990 and comes in Nova Black.
The new models will be sold through Dellstore.com and Dell Exclusive stores. The Dell 14S and Intel-based Alienware 15 will also be available through retail and multi-brand outlets.
The Dell XPS 13 features a 13.4-inch 2.5K LCD InfinityEdge touchscreen with 100% DCI-P3 coverage, 30Hz to 120Hz variable refresh rate and up to 500 nits brightness. It can be configured with Intel Core Series 3 or Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and Intel graphics. Ultra Series 3 variants will arrive later.
It offers 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports or 2 Thunderbolt 4/USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 7 and Dolby Atmos-tuned quad speakers. The laptop has a backlit keyboard, windowed touchpad, CNC aluminium build, 12.7mm edges and weighs 1kg. Dell claims up to 17 hours of streaming. It carries Energy Star certification and EPEAT Gold with Climate+.
The Dell 14S and 16S support Intel Core Ultra Series 3 or AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, with up to 50 TOPS NPU performance. The 16S with Intel Core Ultra X7 358H is claimed to offer 55% higher graphics performance than its predecessor.
The 14S has a 14-inch Full-HD+ OLED non-touch display, while the 16S gets a 16-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen. Both offer up to 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and Dolby Vision. They include USB-C, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.1 and a global headset port.
Both laptops pack 70Wh batteries with 65W USB-C charging, recycled aluminium and plastics, Energy Star 9.0 and EPEAT 2.0 Gold certification. The 14S weighs 1.46kg and the 16S 1.77kg, with both measuring 15.3mm thick.
The Alienware 15 gets a 15.3-inch WUXGA display with 165Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. It now supports up to Intel Core 7 Series 2 240H processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics. The polycarbonate laptop has 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, 2 USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 Ethernet, a universal audio jack and dedicated power port. It packs up to a 70Wh battery and weighs up to 2.25kg.
