Dell unveils next-generation AI servers, storage and cyber recovery platforms for enterprises

As enterprises continue scaling AI adoption, Dell has introduced a new lineup of storage, compute, cyber resilience and automation solutions designed to support modern data centres and demanding AI workloads.

The company announced new PowerStore storage systems, next-generation PowerEdge servers, cyber recovery platforms and automation software aimed at improving infrastructure performance, security and management. Dell said organisations are increasingly facing challenges in balancing traditional workloads with growing AI infrastructure requirements.

Arthur Lewis, president of Infrastructure Solutions Group at Dell Technologies, said, “AI doesn’t wait, and neither can the infrastructure under it. The modern data center is defined by intelligent software that makes IT simpler, and we’re delivering it end-to-end.”

A major highlight was the launch of Dell PowerStore Elite, an AI-powered intelligent storage platform that combines upgraded hardware with advanced software. Dell claims the platform delivers up to 3 times higher performance and density than previous generations and supports up to 5.8 petabytes of effective capacity within a single 3U appliance. The system also features modular and field-upgradable components that allow upgrades without downtime or data migration.

Dell also introduced its 18th-generation PowerEdge server portfolio, which the company says offers up to 70% improved performance along with advanced air and liquid cooling support for AI and high-performance computing workloads.

The new server lineup includes Dell PowerEdge M9825 for AI and HPC workloads, XE5845 and XE7845 for PCIe-based AI deployments, R9825 and R9815 powered by AMD EPYC processors, and R9810 powered by Intel Diamond Rapids processors. Additional enterprise-focused models include R8815, R6815, R7815, R7815xd and R7825.

The company also launched PowerProtect One, a unified cyber resilience platform for ransomware recovery and protection. Dell Cyber Detect, an AI-powered ransomware detection tool for PowerStore and PowerMax systems, was also announced.

On the software front, Dell introduced updates to Dell Automation Platform and Private Cloud, adding AI-driven infrastructure management, automated cloud deployment and agentic AI capabilities.

Most products will roll out between June 2026 and 2027, while Dell PowerProtect One and Distributed Private Cloud are already available.
