Flutter Entertainment India has appointed Seema Padman as General Manager of its Hyderabad-based Global Capability Centre, taking charge of the centre’s next phase of growth.
Padman joined Flutter Entertainment India in April 2024 as its People Leader. Since then, she has played a key role in scaling the Hyderabad centre to more than 1,000 colleagues, with new teams established across emerging and priority capabilities.
Commenting on her appointment, Seema Padman, General Manager, Flutter Entertainment India, said: “I’ve seen first-hand the depth of talent, capability and ambition within the Hyderabad GCC. I’m looking forward to bringing those strengths together and working with our leaders to create an environment where both our people and our business can thrive. In her new role as country leader, Padman will work with Flutter’s leadership team to expand capabilities, strengthen delivery for the group’s brands and build a high-performance, inclusive culture.
She will also lead the Hyderabad centre’s contribution to Flutter Edge, the group’s capabilities across technology, product, talent and global scale that support its competitive position.
Padman brings more than 20 years of experience across technology, pharmaceuticals and retail. At Flutter Entertainment India, she has led the people function in India as well as Flutter’s global hubs in Cluj, Porto and Sofia, supporting the company’s people strategy across multiple locations.
Before joining Flutter Entertainment India, she was Senior Vice President – HR for India, APAC, Middle East and Australia at Epsilon. At ARM, she led the HR organisation across China, India, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Her international experience also includes roles at AstraZeneca and McDonald’s in the United Kingdom. Her career spans talent management, leadership development, succession planning, organisational transformation and culture building.
Padman holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management from Mahatma Gandhi University and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, UK.
