Coforge has expanded its AI-powered capabilities for automotive lenders, fleet operators and remarketing companies, helping them turn vehicle inspection data into actionable intelligence across the vehicle lifecycle.
The solution creates a consolidated digital record of a vehicle’s condition by bringing together information from multiple enterprise systems. This includes vehicle history, inspection data, operational details and supporting evidence.
Before an inspection begins, the platform brings together key information such as the vehicle identification number (VIN), mileage, maintenance history and vehicle-return data. During inspections, standardised workflows capture 360-degree evidence of the vehicle’s condition, along with assessments and details of wear.
The resulting digital vehicle condition report can then support decisions across different stages of the vehicle lifecycle. These include repair requirements, certification, vehicle routing and remarketing or resale.
Coforge said the solution is already operating at scale and supports more than 60,000 vehicles annually.
“Vehicle inspections should not end with documentation. They should create intelligence that powers every downstream decision,” said Niraj Patel, Senior Vice President, Coforge.
The company said using inspection data as actionable intelligence can help reduce delays and improve processes involved in vehicle remarketing.
