In his new role, Upadhyay will lead technology infrastructure operations, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives as Coforge continues expanding its global digital services capabilities.
Before joining Coforge, Upadhyay served as Vice President of Technology at EXL, where he played a key role in leading enterprise technology strategy and infrastructure modernization efforts. His experience at EXL further enhanced his expertise in IT transformation, operational scalability, and business-focused technology solutions.
Prior to EXL, Upadhyay spent more than 6 years at Genpact, where he held several leadership roles including Vice President Information Technology, Assistant Vice President, and AVP – Enterprise Architecture Team. During his tenure, he led global IT infrastructure design, enterprise architecture initiatives, digital transformation programs, cost optimization strategies, and large-scale project execution across multiple international markets. His contributions supported the development of scalable and business-centric IT ecosystems while managing complex technology portfolios.
Earlier in his career, Upadhyay held senior technology leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group, HCL Technologies, HP, IBM, Wipro Infotech, and IGATE. Across these organizations, he built extensive expertise in network operations, infrastructure planning, enterprise architecture, telecom, vendor management, and global IT service delivery. Over a career spanning more than 2 decades, he has consistently driven enterprise-scale infrastructure innovation, operational resilience, and technology-led business growth.
With broad experience across IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, project management, and digital transformation, Upadhyay’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Coforge’s infrastructure leadership as the company accelerates its AI, cloud, automation, and digital engineering capabilities globally.
