In this role, Thenkarai will lead Technology Practices and Delivery, with a mandate to scale AI-driven capabilities, enhance digital transformation programs, and drive operational excellence across global markets. His appointment aligns with the company’s strategy to build next-generation capabilities in AI, cloud, and enterprise transformation.
Before joining Bahwan CyberTek, Thenkarai served as Chief Delivery Officer (Corporate SVP, WNS Technology Services) at WNS Global Services. He led large, multi-tower technology deals and drove AI-led transformation initiatives, including integrating agentic AI into enterprise platforms and solutions.
Earlier, Thenkarai held leadership roles at Ciklum, including Country Head – India and Head of Engineering and Delivery. There, he played a key role in building and scaling the India engineering hub, establishing AI and cloud-native practices, and expanding teams while driving customer-focused technology investments.
He also spent over a decade at Cognizant, where he held multiple leadership roles such as Assistant Vice President, Client Partner, and Director – Quality Engineering and Assurance. During this time, he led large delivery teams, managed global client engagements, and built strong expertise in hybrid cloud, enterprise delivery, and program management.
With over 28 years of global experience, Thenkarai brings deep expertise in engineering leadership, hyperscaler technologies, AI transformation, and large-scale delivery management.
