Apple is reportedly preparing a major expansion of its product lineup by 2027, with new devices including a foldable iPhone, AI-powered smart glasses, upgraded AirPods with cameras, and redesigned wearable technology, according to industry reports.
The roadmap suggests that Apple is working on a broad shift toward AI-driven and spatial computing devices, moving beyond its traditional smartphone and audio ecosystem. The foldable iPhone is expected to be one of the most significant additions, marking Apple’s entry into the foldable smartphone segment.
Alongside the foldable device, Apple is also said to be developing AI-enabled smart glasses. These glasses are expected to integrate advanced artificial intelligence features, potentially supporting real-time information processing, camera-based interactions, and enhanced user assistance.
The report also indicates that Apple is working on new AirPods equipped with cameras. These next-generation earbuds are expected to combine audio functionality with visual sensing capabilities, expanding their role beyond traditional listening devices.
In addition, Apple is reportedly planning updates across its camera systems and wearable ecosystem, aiming to create a more integrated AI-powered user experience across devices.
The 2027 roadmap highlights Apple’s continued focus on artificial intelligence, hardware innovation and ecosystem integration. While the company has not officially confirmed these products, the report suggests that multiple experimental projects are currently in development.
If realised, the upcoming lineup could represent one of Apple’s biggest product shifts in years, blending AI, wearables and foldable technology into a unified ecosystem.
