In his new role, Ashok will support AESL’s financial strategy as the company continues to expand its presence across power transmission, distribution, smart metering, and integrated energy solutions.
Before joining Adani Energy Solutions, Ashok served as Chief Financial Officer at Adani Global Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, where he spent more than 6 years leading finance functions for the group’s international business operations. Prior to that, he held the position of Associate Vice President – Finance at Adani Global Pte. Ltd., gaining significant experience in global finance, international operations, and strategic business planning.
Earlier, Ashok served as Chief Financial Officer at Adani Green Energy Limited, where he played a key role in supporting the financial management and growth of the group’s renewable energy business.
He also worked with Adani Advisory LLP as General Manager – Finance & Accounts, focusing on investment advisory, mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international transaction structuring, and business strategy initiatives.
A significant part of his professional journey was spent at Adani Wilmar Limited, where he worked for more than 11 years. During this period, he managed project appraisal, finance, debt syndication, working capital management, mergers and acquisitions, foreign exchange management, cash management, accounts, and secretarial functions.
Earlier in his career, Ashok held finance and accounting roles at Gopala Polyplast Ltd. and Marwar Hotels Limited, building strong expertise in project finance, accounting, and financial management.
With extensive experience across diverse sectors and global operations, Ashok’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Adani Energy Solutions’ financial leadership as it continues its growth and expansion journey.
