Strengthening regional connectivity and multimodal logistics, Adani Mundra Airport has launched its first scheduled commercial flight services in partnership with Star Air. The new operations connect Mundra with Mumbai and Goa, marking a key milestone in the development of the Adani Group’s integrated transport ecosystem.
In addition to Mumbai and Goa, Star Air will operate services connecting Mundra with Hindon, Surat, Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kolhapur, and Nanded. The expanded network is expected to reduce travel time for businesses, trade, logistics, and tourism while improving connectivity across the Kutch region.
The launch of commercial flight services at the privately owned airport further strengthens the logistics ecosystem around Mundra Port, India’s largest commercial port, and the adjoining Mundra Special Economic Zone (SEZ), one of the country’s largest operational multi-product SEZs.
According to the company, the airport will provide critical last-mile connectivity, enabling smoother integration of cargo movement and business operations with national and global supply chains.
Adani Mundra Airport features a 1,900-metre runway capable of handling a wide range of passenger and cargo aircraft. The airport also includes a modern passenger terminal equipped with check-in counters, lounges, parking facilities, food court services, and accessibility infrastructure.
The development is part of the Adani Group’s strategy to create stronger integration between its ports and airports businesses by combining maritime, road, rail, and air connectivity into a single economic ecosystem.
The company said the airport will play an important role in supporting trade, industrial growth, and tourism in the Kutch region while further strengthening Mundra’s position as a major logistics and business destination.
The launch also expands the Adani Group’s aviation portfolio, which includes airports in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangaluru, and Guwahati.
