Chartered Speed has appointed Savio D’souza as Chief People Officer, bringing more than 23 years of experience across human resources, people management and administration.
D’souza’s career spans HR leadership and human capital management across the mobility, automotive, real estate, manufacturing and consumer sectors. In his new role, he will take on the company’s senior people leadership mandate.
Before joining Chartered Speed, D’souza spent nearly a decade with Cargo Motors Pvt. Ltd., where he served as Head of Human Resources from December 2016 to July 2026. Based in Ahmedabad, he led the HR function through an extended tenure focused on organisational people leadership and human capital management.
Earlier, he spent almost 7 years with The Phoenix Mills Ltd. as Senior Manager – HR & Administration in Mumbai. Before that, he served as Assistant Manager – HR & Administration at Apurva India Pvt. Ltd., gaining further experience in core HR and administrative functions.
D’souza began his career as an HR Executive at Textrade International Ltd. in Mumbai. He started his HR journey with Adani Wilmar, where he worked from February 2003 to May 2006 in the Greater Ahmedabad Area.
His career progression has taken him from operational HR roles to senior management and enterprise-level people leadership.
At Chartered Speed, D’souza will bring his 2 decades of HR experience to a passenger mobility organisation with more than 4,000 employees, including around 2,480 drivers.
His appointment marks his move into a senior people leadership role as Chartered Speed continues to manage its growing workforce and organisational requirements.
