Oppo has expanded its A series in select global markets with the A7 Pro Max 5G, bringing a large 10,000mAh battery, 80W fast charging and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. The smartphone was first launched in China in August this year.
The Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G is priced at EUR 599 (around Rs. 61,000) in Austria for the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. In Malaysia, the 8GB RAM + 256GB model is priced at MYR 2,299 (around Rs. 12,000). It comes in Lunar Black and Surfing Blue colours. Oppo has not yet announced an India launch.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs ColorOS 16.0 based on Android 16. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,272×2,772 pixels) flexible AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a maximum touch sampling rate of 330Hz. The panel offers up to 800 nits of brightness and up to 1,800 nits HBM brightness.
Under the hood, the phone uses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset with an Adreno 629 GPU. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the A7 Pro Max 5G features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 2-axis optical image stabilisation, paired with a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. The front houses a 50-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 100-degree field of view for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has an under-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition.
Powering the device is a 10,000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC wired fast charging. It also supports wired reverse charging.
