Aditya Birla Group has promoted Anusha Garg to Assistant Vice President, Rewards and Benefits, Group HR, marking another milestone in her more than 8-year journey with the organization. 

In her expanded role, she will help drive the Group’s rewards and benefits strategy, leveraging her expertise in total rewards, employee benefits, HR business partnering, talent management, leadership development, and workforce analytics.

Before this promotion, Anusha served as General Manager, Rewards and Benefits, Group HR for 3 years, where she played a key role in shaping the Group’s total rewards and employee benefits strategy.

Earlier, she was Assistant General Manager – HR Business Partner at Hindalco, providing strategic HR support to 5 CXOs and more than 350 employees across functions including finance, IT and digital, strategy, manufacturing, enterprise risk management, corporate communications, and HR. During this period, she also contributed to Hindalco’s HR strategy programme, led the company’s Great Place to Work assessment, and developed an automated HR dashboard using Power BI.

Before moving into HR business partnering, Anusha served as Manager – Employee Relations at Hindalco’s Taloja unit, where she managed employee relations, statutory compliance, industrial relations, and workforce reporting for more than 290 workmen and 220 contract workers. She also led the implementation of a contract labour management system across 6 units.

Anusha began her career through the Aditya Birla Group Leadership Program, gaining experience across Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Group HR, and Novelis in areas including learning and development, succession planning, talent analytics, organizational effectiveness, change management, and global mobility.

Before joining Aditya Birla Group, she worked as a Young Leader Intern at Bharti Airtel, where she contributed to employer branding, HR analytics, and candidate experience initiatives using more than 17,000 data points.

Anusha holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nirma University. During her undergraduate studies, she co-authored and published a research paper presenting a novel algorithm at an international conference and in a journal.
