Prior to this promotion, Shannon served as Associate Director and Account Director at JioHotstar, where he played an important role in driving advertising partnerships and supporting revenue growth initiatives. His promotion reflects the company’s confidence in his leadership and contributions to its expanding advertising business.
Before joining JioHotstar, Shannon held the position of Senior Manager – Ad Sales (Jio Cinema) at Viacom18 Media Private Limited. Over the years, he has built extensive experience through roles at Sony Pictures Networks India, Viacom18 Media Private Limited, Zeeunimedia (Zee News), DB Corp Ltd., and Info Edge India Ltd.
With more than a decade of experience in the media and entertainment sector, Shannon has developed expertise across digital advertising sales, media monetization, client partnerships, business development, and strategic revenue management. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with leading brands and agencies, helping drive business growth and deliver effective advertising solutions across both traditional and digital media platforms.
His elevation comes as JioHotstar continues to strengthen its advertising ecosystem and expand its market presence. The company believes his experience and leadership will play a key role in supporting its next phase of growth and innovation.
