As Senior Vice President and Global Head of Avionics Delivery, he will lead Cyient’s global avionics delivery organization, focusing on engineering excellence, customer engagement, innovation and scalable delivery across the company’s aerospace portfolio. His experience spans avionics systems, embedded technologies, sensors, electronic controllers, human-machine interfaces (HMI) and airworthiness certification across multiple aircraft platforms.
Before joining Cyient, Nagarajan served as Head of Engineering – Rolling Stock and Components (RSC), India Cluster at Alstom. There, he led a team of more than 3,000 professionals responsible for rolling stock, signaling, software, traction systems, electrical systems, braking technologies and program management. His team supported transportation projects across India, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
Prior to Alstom, he worked as a Technical Consultant at RagaAI, where he advised leadership teams on AI product strategy, governance frameworks, commercialization approaches and go-to-market execution. He also contributed to initiatives focused on AI governance, trustworthy AI and large language model applications across sectors including aerospace, healthcare and financial services.
Nagarajan spent nearly 8 years in senior engineering leadership roles at Honeywell, serving as Vice President of Engineering (Global) and Senior Director – Head of Global Engineering. During this period, he led large international engineering teams and oversaw product certification, testing, quality assurance, automation and program management across multiple industries.
His aerospace leadership experience at Honeywell included roles such as Senior Director – Global Aerospace Engineering, Director of Engineering – Flight Systems, and Director of Engineering – Electronic Controllers & Power Systems. He led engineering programs supporting major aircraft platforms including Airbus A350, A380, Boeing 777, Gulfstream and Embraer. He also played a key role in building Honeywell’s global aerospace verification and validation organization.
Earlier in his career, Nagarajan held engineering and systems leadership positions at Honeywell, BAeHAL Software Ltd and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), where he contributed to flight test instrumentation, telemetry systems and research initiatives linked to India’s Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) program.
With deep expertise in aerospace innovation, certification and safety-critical systems, Nagarajan is expected to play a key role in advancing Cyient’s global avionics growth strategy.
