In his new role, Hasan will lead the company’s IT and digital transformation agenda, focusing on AI adoption, IT and digital transformation strategy, infrastructure resilience, IoT and MES implementation, cybersecurity, DPDP compliance, strategic outsourcing, and capability development across teams.
This appointment brings on board a seasoned technology leader with nearly 30 years of experience in IT leadership, digital transformation, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, manufacturing technology, and enterprise technology strategy.
Prior to joining Honda Cars India in this capacity, Hasan served as General Manager & Division Head – IT at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. There, he led end-to-end IT operations for Honda’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing facility globally. His responsibilities included IT and digital transformation strategy, plant applications, infrastructure management, EV production technology transformation, Industry 4.0 and 5.0 initiatives, cybersecurity, IT governance, DPDP and ISO readiness, vendor management, and digital business enablement.
Earlier, he was associated with Honda Cars India Ltd as Head – IT Infrastructure, where he managed data centers, networks, cloud strategy, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, service desk operations, and infrastructure support across corporate and dealer networks. During his tenure, he also led cost optimization initiatives, strategic outsourcing programs, and infrastructure modernization efforts to support digital transformation.
Before that, Hasan served as Head – IT Infrastructure at Honda Motor India Pvt. Ltd., overseeing IT infrastructure operations, data center management, network security, end-user support, vendor partnerships, disaster recovery planning, and IT governance initiatives.
His journey with the Honda Group began at Honda Siel Cars India Ltd., where he worked as Assistant Manager – IT. In this role, he managed data center and network infrastructure supporting manufacturing and logistics operations.
Hasan started his professional career with CMS Computers Ltd as Senior Customer Support Engineer, where he handled data center operations, network management, AS/400 systems, Lotus Mail administration, helpdesk services, and project management responsibilities for Philips India.
With extensive experience across digital transformation, manufacturing technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, and business-driven IT innovation, Hasan is expected to play a key role in advancing Honda Cars India’s technology roadmap and strengthening its digital capabilities for the future.
