Expanding its audio product portfolio, Vivo has introduced its first-ever wireless over-ear headphones in China. The new Vivo Over-Ear Noise-Cancelling Headphones arrive with long battery life, advanced noise cancellation and multi-device connectivity features.
Priced at CNY 499 (approximately Rs. 6,000), the headphones are available in Breeze Purple and Clouds and Mist colour options.
The headphones feature 40mm dynamic drivers and offer a frequency response range of 20Hz to 40kHz. They support AAC, SBC and LDAC audio codecs, along with DeepX 3.0 stereo sound technology. Users can also customise sound profiles through 10-band EQ settings and personalised sound effects.
A key highlight of the device is its active noise cancellation (ANC) capability. Vivo claims the headphones can block up to 99.9% of ambient noise, with an average noise reduction depth of 31dB and a maximum reduction of up to 58dB.
The headphones can automatically switch between light, normal and deep noise cancellation modes depending on surrounding conditions. The audio device is equipped with a multi-microphone setup that includes 3 ECM microphones and 2 MEMS microphones for improved noise control and voice clarity.
Powered by the BES2710Y-8X chip, the headphones support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and offer a low latency mode of 47ms for gaming. Users can manage settings and controls through the Vivo Headphones app.
The device can connect with up to 3 devices simultaneously, including smartphones, tablets and computers. Physical controls include dedicated buttons for noise cancellation, Bluetooth pairing, volume adjustment and power functions.
Vivo claims the headphones can deliver up to 75 hours of playback on a single charge, making them one of the longest-lasting audio products in their segment. Charging is supported through a USB Type-C port, with a full charge taking around 2.5 hours.
The headphones measure 181.6×147.6×86.3mm and weigh approximately 238g, offering a balance of portability and extended usage.
