Nestlé India launches Nespresso’s debut retail outlet in Mumbai

Expanding its presence in India’s premium coffee market, Nestlé India has launched Nespresso’s first retail store in Mumbai. The new outlet at Jio World Drive in Bandra Kurla Complex marks another step in the brand’s growing focus on the premium in-home coffee segment in the country.

The Mumbai outlet is Nespresso’s 3rd store in India and comes after the brand’s recent expansion in Gurugram. Designed as an immersive pavilion-style space instead of a traditional café, the store offers customers a personalised coffee experience featuring Nespresso’s coffee blends, machines, and accessories.

Speaking about the launch, Manish Tiwary said, “Mumbai has always been a city that embraces excellence, and we are proud to bring the world of Nespresso to its discerning coffee lovers. This pavilion is more than a retail space. It is an invitation to discover, taste, and connect with exceptional coffee in an entirely new way.”

Renaud Tinel said, “India is not just a growth market for Nespresso, it is a strategic priority.” He added that the company plans to further strengthen its accessibility and presence in the Indian market.

Nespresso’s operations in India are supported by Thakral Innovations Pvt. Ltd., which manages distribution and helps enhance the brand’s retail reach and customer experience across the country.
