In his new role, Rahul will lead the company’s digital and technology strategy with a focus on enterprise transformation, AI integration, and enhancing the digital customer journey.
Before rejoining Starbucks India, Rahul served as Director of Technology (CIO) for Tim Hortons Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia. During his tenure, he led IT strategy, market launch technology, POS, ERP, mobile applications, loyalty CRM, delivery integrations, analytics, kiosk ordering, and GenAI-enabled customer service automation initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Rahul held technology leadership roles at Nexus Malls, McDonald’s India, and Reliance Brands Limited. Across these organizations, he worked on digital roadmaps, omnichannel technology, ERP migration, mobile app transformation, analytics, and IT cost optimization programs.
Rahul also previously spent more than 5 years with Starbucks India as CIO and Head of Digital Innovation. As part of the company’s initial market launch team, he played a key role in building Starbucks India’s IT foundation across POS, ERP, loyalty systems, BI, payments, infrastructure, and store rollout operations.
