In a fresh push for smartphone performance, MediaTek has introduced its new Dimensity 7450 and 7450X chipsets. Built on a 4nm process, both processors are designed to deliver efficient and smooth performance across modern devices.
The chipsets come with an 8-core setup and support connectivity features like Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. They also include HyperEngine technology to improve gaming performance and deliver a smoother experience. A key highlight is the Dimensity 7450X, which is specially optimized for foldable smartphones, including devices like the upcoming Motorola Razr (2026).
Both chipsets are equipped for global 5G connectivity, offering download speeds of up to 3.27 Gbps. They also feature advanced GPS capabilities for better navigation accuracy.
For content creators and streaming users, the processors support camera systems up to 200MP and enable 4K video recording at 30 fps. On the graphics side, Mali-G615 GPUs power these chips, supporting smoother gameplay and display refresh rates of up to 144Hz.
With these features, MediaTek aims to strengthen its position in the high-performance smartphone segment while addressing the growing demand for foldable-ready hardware.
