As anticipation builds for its next smartphone release, OnePlus has confirmed key details about the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, which is set to launch in China on April 28 at 7 pm local time (4:30 pm IST). The device is being positioned as a gaming-focused smartphone with support for 165 fps gaming on select titles.
The company revealed that the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will feature a large 8,600mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging. It is claimed to deliver up to 7 hours of gameplay on a single charge, while 10 minutes of charging can provide up to 2 hours of gaming.
The smartphone will also include an Oppo-branded “Energy Concentration” chip, designed to improve battery efficiency. This chip is said to offer an additional 200mAh backup in normal conditions and up to 700mAh more in “extreme cold” temperatures compared to devices without it. It is also expected to extend battery lifespan and ensure stable gaming performance even at low battery levels.
In terms of design, the phone will be available in Ace Awakening and Metal Storm colour options. The Ace Awakening variant will feature a 3D stereoscopic light on the rear panel. The device will also include the Lingxi Touch chip, offering up to 4,000Hz instant touch sampling rate, along with the G2 Pro Wi-Fi chip.
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is confirmed to sport a 1.5K (1,272 x 2,772 pixels) BOE display with up to 165Hz refresh rate. It will support 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 1.07 billion colours, 450 ppi pixel density, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Crystal Shield Glass protection.
For gaming and connectivity, the smartphone will feature a 360-degree gaming antenna system with 11 high-performance antennas and 5 gaming antennas.
Additional features include IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a dual-speaker system. The device will run on Oppo’s ColorOS 16, based on Android 16.
