In a move that deepens its global digital footprint, LPL Financial, a Fortune 500 wealth management firm, has officially opened a technology-led Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. The company announced the launch in a statement, underlining the centre’s role in advancing next-generation digital platforms and strengthening global technology and engineering capabilities.

The newly launched GCC will focus on building and scaling digital solutions that support LPL Financial’s worldwide operations. Its core areas of work will include financial technology platforms, data platforms and analytics, AI engineering and cloud solutions, and cybersecurity. Teams based in India will work closely with counterparts in the United States to enable smooth collaboration and effective knowledge sharing across regions.

To lead the Hyderabad operations, LPL Financial has appointed Ramesh Kaza as Executive Vice President and Head of Country. In this role, he will be responsible for driving the centre’s growth, overseeing hiring plans, and ensuring alignment with the company’s global technology strategy.

As part of its expansion roadmap, LPL Financial plans to hire 100s of technology and engineering professionals over the next 3-5 years. The hiring strategy is aimed at creating integrated teams that can deliver innovative financial and digital solutions for clients across global markets.

Hyderabad was selected as the location for the GCC due to its strong pool of technology talent, a well-established startup ecosystem, and dependable digital infrastructure.
