Yum! Brands has appointed Rishab Mukherjee as Chief Marketing Officer for KFC South Asia, strengthening its regional leadership team with a marketing executive who brings more than 16 years of global brand-building and commercial leadership experience.
In his new role, he will lead KFC’s marketing strategy across South Asia, focusing on brand growth, customer engagement, innovation, and business performance.
Rishab has built an extensive career leading global consumer brands across the Asia-Pacific region. His expertise spans brand management, P&L leadership, retail innovation, product commercialisation, digital transformation, and cross-functional leadership, positioning him to support KFC’s continued growth across the region.
Before joining Yum! Brands, Rishab spent more than 16 years at Procter & Gamble, where he held several senior leadership roles across international markets. Most recently, he served as Commercial Leader (Beauty) and Head of Brand Function for Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore. In this role, he managed a portfolio of global brands including Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Olay, Herbal Essences, Old Spice, Safeguard, Rejoice, and Aussie, while leading cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, finance, and supply chain.
Earlier, he served as Regional CMO (Senior Brand Director) for Haircare Japan and Korea, overseeing brand strategy, innovation, commercialisation, media planning, and P&L management across both markets. He also held dual leadership roles as Commercial Leader for SK-II Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) and Director of Global Retail Innovation, where he led commercial growth, digital retail transformation, and technology-driven consumer experiences.
During his tenure at Procter & Gamble, Rishab also served as Country Head – Skin & Personal Care, Regional Brand Manager for Safeguard Asia Pacific, and held leadership roles across Olay, Old Spice, and SK-II. He consistently delivered business growth through innovation, product commercialisation, and integrated marketing campaigns.
Earlier in his career, he gained experience in digital marketing at Bray Leino Splash and completed internships with Vodafone and Maroon Analytics, building expertise in strategy, consumer insights, and business development.
With his international marketing experience, Rishab is expected to strengthen KFC South Asia’s brand leadership, deepen customer engagement, and support the company’s long-term business growth.
