Vivo’s latest book-style foldable could reach India soon, with a reported launch date of October 6, just days after its expected global debut.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Vivo X Fold 6 is expected to launch in India on October 6 at 12pm, while its global launch could take place on October 1. If the information is accurate, India would get the device 5 days after the global launch and around 4 months after its China debut.
The Indian model is tipped to come in 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage options. It could be offered in Prism Black and Nebula Teal. By comparison, the Vivo X Fold 5 was available in a single 16GB + 512GB variant in Titanium Grey.
The software may also differ by market. The China model runs OriginOS 6 Fold, while the global version is tipped to use OriginOS 7.
Vivo launched the X Fold 6 in China in June at a starting price of CNY 7,999, or roughly Rs. 1.05 lakh. The company has confirmed plans for select global markets, but an India launch had not been officially announced.

The China variant features an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED display and a 6.51-inch outer AMOLED screen, both with 120Hz refresh rates. It carries IP58 + IP59 dust and water resistance.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset with an ARM Mali G1-Ultra GPU. It supports up to 16GB LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
For cameras, it has a Zeiss-tuned triple rear setup with a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 100x digital zoom. It also has 20MP selfie cameras on both the inner and cover displays.
A 7,000mAh battery supports 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. The phone measures 157.16 x 145.66 x 4.40mm unfolded and 157.16 x 74.26 x 9.40mm folded, with a weight of about 228g.
