Vivo shares first details of T5 Lite 5G ahead of its India debut

Vivo has officially started teasing the launch of the T5 Lite 5G in India, revealing key battery and charging features ahead of its debut. The company has also activated a dedicated Flipkart microsite, confirming that the smartphone will be available through the e-commerce platform after launch.

The teaser confirms that the Vivo T5 Lite 5G will feature a 6,500mAh battery with support for 44W FlashCharge technology. A preview of the smartphone’s design shows a flat rear panel with a dual-camera setup, while the power button and volume keys are positioned on one side of the frame.

The Flipkart microsite also confirms that the handset will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Earlier reports suggest the Vivo T5 Lite 5G could be powered by either the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. The smartphone is also expected to feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness in High Brightness Mode.

The handset is tipped to be available in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 256GB storage variants. Other expected features include a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, and the same 6,500mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support. It is also expected to arrive in Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue colour options.

Vivo has not yet announced the official launch date, pricing, or complete specifications of the T5 Lite 5G. With the teaser campaign now underway, additional details are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
