Pallavi Bhatia takes charge as CHRO for Vedanta’s alumina business

In this role, Bhatia will lead HR strategy for the alumina vertical, focusing on talent management, workforce transformation, people practices, and HR initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.

Bhatia brings extensive experience across HR strategy, talent management, industrial relations, HR operations, onboarding, payroll, and manufacturing-sector people practices.

Prior to joining Vedanta, she served as Regional Human Resources Manager at Pernod Ricard, where she led regional HR priorities and people initiatives. Before that, she was Head of Human Resources at Minova Runaya, working across HR strategy, payroll, and business-aligned people practices.

Earlier in her career, Bhatia held roles as Manager HR at Goodyear India Limited and HR Manager at ATG Tire, gaining experience in manufacturing HR, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations. She also worked as Lead HR & IR at Cavendish Industries Ltd, strengthening her expertise in industrial relations and plant HR.

Bhatia early career includes roles with Birla Tyres Ltd, Aryan HR Consulting Pvt Ltd, Saraswati Dynamics Pvt Ltd, and Airtel. Across these roles, she built experience in HR operations, recruitment, senior management hiring, payroll, organisation structure, job descriptions, induction, and training.
