AI startup Vectorial has raised $3 million in a funding round led by SenseAI Ventures to advance its technology for simulating human behaviour and helping businesses make better product development decisions.

The round also attracted investment from Smilegate, Berkeley SkyDeck, Berkeley AI Research Lab, Dent Capital, Motus Ventures and SUM Ventures. Angel investors, including product leaders from Meta, Shopify and Mastercard, also participated.

Founded by Taranveer Singh, Rahul Garg and Jasmine Kaur, Vectorial helps companies understand how users may respond to software products, digital experiences and marketing campaigns. Its platform uses AI-powered simulations to test ideas and predict user responses, reducing reliance on traditional surveys and interviews.

The company claims to have modelled more than 2.5 million people worldwide, including 500,000 in India, and conducted over 30,000 simulations.

At the core of its platform is SAPIENS, a model that uses socio-demographic, psychographic and behavioural data to simulate target audiences across websites, mobile applications and AI-based platforms.

According to Vectorial, its model is 30% more accurate at predicting human behaviour than general-purpose large language models. The company also claims its simulations can reproduce findings from previous user studies with more than 85% accuracy.

Vectorial said its customers run around 600 simulations each month, equivalent to approximately 40 user studies. The company also reports that its customers conduct up to 20 times more research than they did previously.

Its customer base includes boAt, GoodRx, Suki AI, Everkind and Concrete Software, with applications spanning healthcare, gaming and e-commerce.

The latest funding will support the company’s efforts to develop its platform and expand the use of AI-driven simulations in product research. By allowing businesses to test ideas and evaluate potential user responses before launch, Vectorial aims to help teams make faster, data-informed decisions throughout product development and marketing.
