India’s growing Global Capability Centre ecosystem continues to attract global technology firms, with US-based HR tech company Isolved opening its largest campus outside the United States in Hyderabad.
The company has inaugurated a new 28,000 sq ft office in the city as part of its plans to strengthen engineering, artificial intelligence, and product development operations from India. Isolved also plans to hire 400 employees by the end of 2027 to support its next-generation human capital management products.
The Hyderabad centre will focus on product engineering, AI-driven capabilities, payroll processing, tax operations, and platform delivery. Unlike many GCCs that mainly manage back-office operations, the company said its India teams will directly contribute to building products for its global platform.
“India is the whole bet right now. Initially, we were thinking of 20-40 people, and now we are looking at 400+,” said Yogesh More, general manager, Isolved India.
The company stated that teams in Hyderabad will work on products including Better Benefits and Marketplace, while also contributing to AI-based innovation.
“They’ll be building 2 products: Better Benefits and Marketplace. With AI coming into play, these talent in Hyderabad is at par with anybody in the world. These teams are going to contribute equally when you build these products,” More added.
According to the company, Hyderabad was selected after evaluating cities such as Pune, Bengaluru, and Delhi. The decision was influenced by the city’s infrastructure, established HR tech ecosystem, and strong talent availability.
“What they saw is the infrastructure is amazing. There is so much presence of other companies here, which gives assurance that things are going really well,” More said.
The company also revealed that around 50-60 percent of its current hires in India already have expertise in HR implementation and customer support functions.
“Hyderabad gives us the depth of talent and capability to accelerate product development and deliver more intelligent, human-centric solutions while also building out the back-office processing functions, like payroll and tax, that keep our customers’ businesses running,” said Pragya Gupta, chief operating officer at Isolved.
Isolved currently serves more than 200,000 employers and 9 million employees in the US market.
