Kavita joins Thermax after a successful 5-year tenure at United Breweries Ltd., where she served as Chief Human Resources Officer and led large-scale people transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations, leadership development, workforce capability building, and organizational culture.
In her new role, Kavita will lead Thermax Group’s global people strategy, talent transformation, workforce effectiveness, leadership capability development, and culture initiatives across its international operations.
Before joining Thermax Limited Group, Kavita served as CHRO at United Breweries Ltd., overseeing the people function across 19 manufacturing plants, 16 co-pack operations, and a workforce of more than 12,000 employees in a highly unionized environment. During her tenure, she focused on leadership development, employee wellbeing, workplace equity, talent strategy, and change management initiatives supporting business transformation and operational excellence.
Earlier, she worked as Chief Human Resources Officer at Hindustan Zinc Limited, where she managed HR strategy and people processes across 11 locations and a workforce of over 20,000 employees. Her work included talent management, industrial relations, governance, leadership capability development, and community skill-building initiatives.
Kavita also spent more than 10 years with A.P. Moller – Maersk in several global leadership roles. As Regional Director – Head of Human Resources, Africa, South Asia & Middle East for Damco Logistics, she led people strategy across 27 international markets. She also served as Global HR Business Partner at the company’s Copenhagen headquarters and led HR operations for India and Sri Lanka.
Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership positions at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Tata AIG, and Reliance Infocomm, building expertise across HR business partnering, talent acquisition, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, and HR technology implementation.
Kavita Singh holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Bharathidasan Institute of Management.
