The Hershey Company has appointed Jessica Mitory as Senior Vice President, Total Rewards, adding an HR leader with approximately 20 years of experience across compensation, total rewards, organizational development, HR transformation, employee experience and strategic people leadership.
Mitory joins Hershey after serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. from August 2025 to August 2026. Her career combines deep expertise in total rewards with broader enterprise HR leadership across consumer-focused organizations.
Before Bloomin’ Brands, Mitory spent more than 6 years with Advance Auto Parts. She joined the company in January 2019 as Senior Human Resources Business Partner, Corporate Functions, and became Organizational Development Senior Director in 2020.
In May 2022, she moved into the role of Vice President, Total Rewards. She was later promoted to Senior Vice President, Total Rewards and Team Member Experience in November 2024.
Earlier, Mitory spent nearly 11 years with PepsiCo, progressing through several HR and compensation roles. She began as a Senior Compensation Analyst in 2008 and went on to support national beverage sales, franchise operations and marketing.
She later became Human Resources Director, Global Supply, followed by Human Resources Director, Transformation. These roles expanded her experience across compensation, HR business partnering, commercial operations, global supply and enterprise transformation.
Mitory began her professional career at Mercer Human Resource Consulting, where she worked as an Analyst from June 2006 to April 2008. Her early experience in HR consulting and compensation laid the foundation for her later leadership roles across total rewards, employee experience and enterprise HR.
She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Employee Relations from Penn State University, completed between 2004 and 2006. Her academic background complements a career that has progressed from compensation analytics to senior HR leadership.
