Based in Mumbai, Sriniwas will lead the company’s people strategy, talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, employee relations, and culture transformation initiatives as the company continues to strengthen its position in the global chemicals and materials sciences sector.
With more than 30 years of experience across manufacturing, technology, consulting, and global services organizations, Sriniwas brings deep expertise in HR leadership, talent strategy, organizational development, employee relations, compliance, HR transformation, and workforce management. His appointment reflects Tata Chemicals’ focus on building a future-ready, high-performance, and innovation-driven workforce.
Prior to joining Tata Chemicals, Sriniwas served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President at NACL Industries Limited, where he led the HR, Administration, and Corporate Communications functions. During his tenure, he played an important role in advancing the company’s people agenda while supporting business growth and organizational transformation.
Before NACL Industries, he was Group Vice President and Head Human Resources – APAC at Innova Solutions, overseeing HR operations across the Asia-Pacific region while managing global employee relations. In this role, he worked closely with business leaders on growth strategies, workforce integration, mergers and acquisitions, organizational effectiveness, and transformation initiatives.
A major part of his career was spent at Accenture, where he served for nearly 12 years in multiple senior HR leadership positions. As Director – HR, he led employee relations investigations and governance initiatives. Earlier, as Director – Global Employee Relations, he was part of the company’s global leadership team, shaping employee relations strategies across multiple countries and advising leaders on workforce transitions, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational risk management. He also contributed to digitizing employee relations processes and strengthening global HR governance frameworks.
Earlier in his career, Sriniwas held leadership roles at Tata Motors, Infosys, Dell International Services, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Ballarpur Industries, and Modicorp India, gaining extensive experience across manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, IT services, and corporate HR functions.
His appointment comes as Tata Chemicals continues to expand its focus on advanced chemistry, sustainability, research-led innovation, and global business growth.
