Suraj Saharan, one of the visionary co-founders of Delhivery, has been named to the company’s Board of Directors starting May 2025, embarking on a five-year tenure. This appointment reinforces Delhivery’s leadership foundation as it charts an ambitious path towards innovation, sustained profitability, and industry dominance in logistics and supply chain management.
Since Delhivery’s founding in 2011, Suraj has been instrumental in shaping its journey from a budding startup to one of India’s foremost technology-driven and fully integrated supply chain enterprises. His expertise has touched all corners of the business—from refining operations and enhancing customer experiences to crafting long-term strategies. Suraj’s guidance has been pivotal in building Delhivery’s extensive capabilities in express parcel delivery, freight forwarding, warehousing, and cross-border logistics solutions.
Before co-founding Delhivery, Suraj’s professional journey included a strategic consulting role at a leading global firm, where he spearheaded projects across diverse sectors such as consumer goods, telecommunications, healthcare, and industrials, spanning India and the United States. He also dedicated time to public service by supporting the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on the transformative Aadhaar program. His career began in the financial sector at a major insurance company, where he gained foundational operational experience.
A proud graduate of IIT Bombay in Mechanical Engineering, Suraj is celebrated for his meticulous execution, visionary outlook, and profound insight into the unique challenges and opportunities within India’s logistics landscape. His addition to the board is expected to energize Delhivery’s next wave of expansion, focusing on deeper supply chain digitization and diversified service offerings.
