Srikanth Velamakanni will continue to lead the Fractal group of companies with a focus on long-term strategy, innovation, inorganic growth, and global expansion of AI and analytics solutions.
In this role, Velamakanni will shape the future direction of Fractal, strengthening its position as a global enterprise AI and analytics company. He has been associated with Fractal since its inception and has played a key role in building it into a trusted partner for large global enterprises.
Velamakanni co-founded Fractal in 2000 and earlier served as Chief Executive Officer, where he helped institutionalise analytics across several Fortune 100 companies. He later took on the role of Co-founder, Group Chief Executive & Executive Vice-Chairman, focusing on long-term business growth and strategy.
Beyond Fractal, he holds multiple leadership and governance roles. He currently serves as Chairperson of NASSCOM, appointed in April 2026, succeeding Sindhu Gangadharan. He has also served as Vice Chairperson, Member of the Executive Council, and Co-Chairman of the NASSCOM BPM Council.
He is also Non-Executive Chairman at ideaForge, Co-founder & Trustee at Plaksha University, Independent Director at Metro Brands Limited, NIIT Limited, and BARC India.
His broader leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of the Board at FinalMile Consulting and Crux Intelligence, and Founding Chairman at Qure.ai, where he supported the use of AI in diagnostic decision-making.
Earlier in his career, Velamakanni worked with ICICI, contributing to structured finance transactions including India’s first CDO in 1999. He also worked with ANZ Investment Bank, focusing on structured finance and eurocurrency syndicated loans.
