Smartphone buyers in India are witnessing another round of price hikes as several brands including Realme, OnePlus, Poco and Lava International have revised prices of multiple devices across the mid-range and premium segments.
The latest revisions are reportedly linked to rising component costs and the ongoing shortage of memory chips such as DRAM and NAND.
The Realme 16 series has seen one of the biggest increases. The Realme 16 now starts at ₹33,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, compared to its launch price of ₹31,999. The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models are now priced at ₹36,999 and ₹39,999 respectively.
The Realme 16 Pro has also become more expensive. The 8GB + 128GB model now costs ₹36,999, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are listed at ₹39,999 and ₹42,999 respectively.
Meanwhile, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G now starts at ₹48,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, while the 12GB + 256GB version is priced at ₹52,999.
OnePlus has also increased the price of the OnePlus 15R in India. The 12GB + 256GB variant is now available for ₹54,999, up from ₹47,999 at launch. The 12GB + 512GB model is now priced at ₹59,999.
The Poco X8 Pro Max has also received a price revision in India. The 12GB + 256GB variant now costs ₹44,999, while the 12GB + 512GB version is listed at ₹48,999.
Additionally, the Poco M8 5G now starts at ₹20,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models are priced at ₹22,999 and ₹24,999 respectively.
The Lava International Agni 4 has also become costlier, with the 8GB + 256GB variant now retailing at ₹29,999 compared to its launch price of ₹24,999.
