Siemens Mobility North America has promoted Shornda Cadore as its Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), strengthening its executive leadership team as the company continues to expand sustainable and intelligent mobility solutions across North America.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience in procurement, supply chain, operations and business development, Cadore will lead the company’s procurement strategy, supplier partnerships, operational excellence and supply chain transformation initiatives.

Prior to her appointment, Cadore served as Vice President of Procurement at Siemens, where she helped strengthen procurement operations and align sourcing strategies with the company’s business objectives. Alongside her executive role, she is also a Chief Member at Chief, a leadership network that supports executive women through leadership development and peer collaboration.

Before joining Siemens, Cadore was Vice President of Procurement, Americas at Alstom, where she oversaw procurement operations across the Americas with responsibility for more than US$2 billion in annual spend. During her tenure, she delivered more than €130 million in cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier optimization initiatives, led the implementation of SAP Ariba across the region, and increased small-business supplier participation to 30%, strengthening supplier diversity and operational resilience.

Earlier in her career, Cadore spent more than 14 years with Pratt & Whitney, holding senior leadership roles including Senior Director, Global Business Development and Senior Director, Supply Management. She led strategic sourcing, supplier management and business development initiatives while driving procurement and operational improvements.

She also held engineering and quality leadership positions with UTC – Carrier Corporation as Quality Analyst and Sikorsky as Senior Systems Engineer, building a strong technical foundation in manufacturing, quality and operational excellence.

With more than 2 decades of executive leadership experience, Cadore has established herself as a recognized leader in procurement, supply chain transformation, supplier diversity, digital innovation and operational performance. Her appointment reflects Siemens Mobility North America’s commitment to building a resilient, technology-enabled supply chain that supports the future of sustainable transportation.
